KKQY ~ The Country Bull

Todd Haskell is a Kinsley native and graduate of FHSU.   He may be really weird, but he’s a good Kansas boy who loves his country and country music. Give him a call on the Noon Saloon to request your favorite song.

You can hear Todd
Middays from
10 am – 2 pm
on Y102 The Country Bull

Want to win a Country Bull
t-shirt?
Just listen to Todd Haskell middays and guess what he's thinking during the noon hour. He may think of a color, number, letter, president... who knows what the goof will be thinking each day. If you guess right, your name goes into a pot for a Friday t-shirt drawing.  He only takes three names each
day, so be listening for when he starts the game and be ready to give a ring.

Todd's Fun Facts Todd-Servations Todd's Helpful Hints

Todd-Servations are observations of daily life from the vantage point of who else, Todd Haskell (so creative on the name, isn’t he).  Always one to express his view on a matter… after some critical thinking, that is, Todd has compiled some of his thoughts to share with you. Intended to be humorous and serious, we apologize in advance for what you read.

BANKER FIRED FOR BEING "TOO HOT"

Debrahlee Lorenzana claims she was fired from Citibank in New York City because she is hot. Lorenzana is suing Citibank for wrongful termination. According to the lawsuit, her bosses told her they couldn't concentrate on their work because her appearance was too distracting. They ordered her to stop wearing turtlenecks. She was also forbidden to wear pencil skirts, three-inch heels, or fitted business suits. Lorenzana, a 33-year-old single mom, pointed out female colleagues whose clothing was far more revealing than hers:  "They said their body shapes were different from mine, and I drew too much attention," she says. As Lorenzana's lawsuit puts it, her bosses told her that "as a result of the shape of her figure, such clothes were purportedly 'too distracting' for her male colleagues and supervisors to bear." "Men are kind of drawn to her," says Tanisha Ritter, a friend and former colleague who also works as a banker and praises Lorenzana's work habits. "I've seen men turn into complete idiots around her."

- Somebody hire her in Hays, please... thanks...Todd H.
